CoreCapital Acquires International Independent Service Supplier for the Wind Industry

CoreCapital, a Danish investment fund dedicated to supporting specialized suppliers in the green energy transition, announces the acquisition of Ventum Sp. z o.o. (Ventum), an independent service provider (ISP) for the wind industry.

Founded in 2021 in Poland, Ventum has quickly established itself as a strong international service provider in the wind energy sector. The company’s rapid expansion across continental Europe, the UK, and the US underscores its commitment to growth and innovation.

Ventum’s expertise spans both onshore and offshore wind projects, offering comprehensive services such as installation support, maintenance (O&M), inspections, repairs, and decommissioning. This extensive service range makes Ventum a reliable partner throughout the entire lifespan of wind farms

The existing management team at Ventum will remain owners and in their positions, ensuring continuity as the company embarks on this new phase of growth. CEO Mateusz Wiszniewski expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “I look forward to the new collaboration with CoreCapital. Our shared values and complementary competencies make this a perfect match. We will continue to prioritize quality and customer satisfaction by attracting, retaining, and developing the industry’s best talent.”

CoreCapital, which is actively building a robust portfolio in the energy sector, views Ventum as a prime example of how to achieve international success in the wind service industry through unique competencies and strong execution capabilities. Partner at CoreCapital and Chairman of Ventum, Rolf Kragelund, emphasized the strategic importance of the acquisition, noting, “Ventum exemplifies the kind of fast-growing and high-performing company we aim to support. The employees' expertise and high customer satisfaction levels were key factors in our decision.”

Looking ahead, CoreCapital and Ventum plan to focus on maintaining a robust back-office to support large-scale service projects, thereby solidifying Ventum’s international position and exploring new market opportunities. Additionally, efforts will be made to broaden the service scope, enhancing Ventum's ability to meet the growing demands of the renewable energy sector.
